Alain Ragaru Born in 1949 in Argentan, Orne(Normandy). He was the third child of a united family. He started painting during his childhood. His father was a dental-prothesist. He studied the same discipline and worked with his father for several years. In the same time, he still practiced painting. Since 1973, as he was growing successful, he devoted uniquely to his art. Besides the painter we know, Alain RAGARU also realized bronzes, principally of animals. He realized important frescoes using the technique of “trompe-l’oeil”. Fascinated by Morocco, where he stays several months yearly, he is continuously exhibited at the Mamounia Hotel, in Marrakech.
