Antique Engraving from the Teste Scelte, 1769

This is from a series of engravings by Italian artist Paolo Fidanza after Raphael's (a.k.a. Rafaello Sanzio d'Urbino) paintings in the Vatican. Italian text at the bottom describes who the portrait is of. The artist chose many famous & illustrious figures including philosophers, theologians and poets. He traced the outline of the heads directly from Raphael's paintings and then interpreted them into an engraved portrait. This is from an unbound book, the cover of which says it was printed in 1769.

Condition is: Great. May have minor foxing/discoloration.
